Outline template for Essay 2

I. Introduction 

1.     Hook: should introduce Iranian cultural value/belief Essay is about (can be a quote, question, etc.). (Ex.: look at definitions of culture--quick contrast with language/def in quote.)

2.     Introduce novel and subject character 

3.     Introduce body paragraphs topic sentence claims as context for thesis 

4.     Thesis template:  (Specific and summarized description/reference to claims just introduced) +(adverb +analysis verb) +(Character's +  describe main conflict with a specific Iranian value/belief ) 


II. Body Paragraphs: Main Arguments for How the Graphic Novel Illustrates Thesis Point

A.  Body Paragraph 1’s Topic Sentence template: (Character my essay is about) + (synonym for the adverb "repeatedly") + (action that done multiple times) + analysis verb (exemplifies) + (specify the major conflict and Iranian belief/value).
